Boston, Massachusetts
This year the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will mark its 49th year as one of the nation’s proudest holiday traditions. The July Fourth concert in 1976 attracted more than 400,000 people and made the “Guinness Book of World Records” for the largest audience in the history of orchestral concerts (a record since broken with the 1998 attendance of 500,000+ and many others exceeding that figure). David Mugar, who served as event founder and executive producer until 2016, personally funded the event until 2000. This years’ Fireworks Spectacular will include a special moment in his memory.

Seattle, Washington
Voted one of the nation’s best fireworks shows by USA TODAY and Business Insider, Seafair Summer Fourth takes place in one of the best natural amphitheaters to experience the power and artistry of fireworks. Summer Fourth features a fully choreographed fireworks presentation accompanied by a musical score and a host of pre-show activities during the day. Summer Fourth offers several free and reserved seating options and multiple vantage points to enjoy the show, Lake Union for an overhead view, Gas Works Park for a hilltop view, and Lake Union Park for a darker sky view. Each location offers its own unique experience.
Chicago, Illinois
One of the best times to experience summer in Chicago is the Fourth of July. Head to the lakefront to catch not one, but two spectacular fireworks displays. Navy Pier, the iconic Chicago destination, will host their free annual waterfront fireworks show on both Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4. You can catch the 15-minute show from anywhere north or south of Navy Pier along the waterfront, including beaches, rooftop bars, and parks.
Marina del Rey, California
The fireworks show on Monday, July 4, 2022 starts at 9 p.m. and lasts 20 minutes. This is a popular event, with visitors traveling to the area from throughout the Southland. So, please check the schedule to make the most of your visit in the area and decide the events you wish to be part of.

The annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks might be the largest display of fireworks. Macy’s has confirmed they are launching the fireworks on July 4, 2022 from 5 barges in the East River. In 2022, Macy’s will launch from 5 barges in the East River. Enjoy the fireworks over the East River. As everybody knows, the BEST view of the fireworks is from the water. Rockaway Beach, Oregon
Recognized as one of the most magnificent Independence Day celebrations on the Northern Oregon Coast, Rockaway Beach is the preeminent place to be on the fourth of July. Rockaway Beach’s celebration sends up the fireworks after a day marked by a big parade, wiener dog races, beach treasure hunts, and more.
Washington, D.C.
The National Park Service will once again host the annual Independence Day fireworks celebration on the National Mall, the nation’s most important civic space and home to more than a dozen memorials that commemorate great Americans and significant events in our nation’s history. The display will be held on Monday, July 4, starting at 9:09 p.m. and will be launched from both sides of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. And of course, fireworks are even more impressive when viewed on the Potomac River.
Tampa, Florida
