The schooner ATLANTIC65 metres of grace and power under sail.
One of the most impressive classic yachts of all time, the three-masted schooner ATLANTIC is sailing again.
At the top of his game with his previous experience in building, restoring or recreating yachts such as THENDARA, AILE BLANCHE, BORKUMRIFF and the schooner ELEONORA, Ed Kastelein has created a masterpiece with the construction of the three-masted schooner ATLANTIC.
ATLANTIC made history in 1905 with her victorious transatlantic race which made her immortal in the world of yachting. Her record-breaking crossing time lasted several years.
Ed Kastelein drew on his vast experience and the help of the famous N/A Doug Peterson to recreate this breathtakingly beautiful schooner as she was in 1905.
She still turns heads wherever the wind takes her.
ATLANTIC''s dimensions are simply incredible; on deck she measures 56 metres.
Her graceful slim line accentuates her grace while her 42-metre waterline length and narrow beam promise unparalleled speed under sail.
It took a dedicated team led by Ed five years to bring ATLANTIC to life at Van der Graff BV.
She now offers more luxurious cabins for the most demanding owners. 6 large double cabins, ample space on and below deck, and cabins for 12 crew members.
Today, ATLANTIC combines an unparalleled sailing experience with all the facilities of a luxury mega yacht, allowing the owner and guests to explore the world in style and comfort, from ocean crossings to classic Mediterranean and Caribbean regattas.
She is also a Bureau Veritas-certified commercial vessel (in 2020) and can be operated as a sought-after charter yacht
