Promise is the day sailor version of the Bridges Point 24 and so features a low deck house constructed in the style of many Herreshoff designed boats with the two cabin sides sweeping inboard and meeting at center line.
Cabin sides are of Mahogany with varnished finish
Cabin top is of marine plywood over Fir beams with an overlay of fiberglass cloth set in epoxy and a Light Tan / Buff non-skid painted exterior finish with White painted waterway / trim areas.
Cast Bronze port and starboard navigation lights are mounted on cabin sides

Cockpit is self-bailing with stainless steel scuppers forward in port and starboard corners
Cockpit well and sole constructed of marine plywood with an over lay of fiberglass cloth set in epoxy with a Light Tan painted exterior finish for cockpit seats and cockpit sole with White painted vertical cockpit well sides.
Cockpit sail locker hatches are of molded fiberglass construction with matching exterior finish of Light Tan / Buff non-skid paint.
Engine ignition and status panel located at the forward face of the cockpit well
Above the ignition panel is a bridge deck lift-up hatch allowing for engine access
Engine control (throttle and transmission lever) and engine shut-off located on the starboard face of the cockpit well.
