Hull Composition and Structure
Hull construction is molded fiberglass reinforced polyester resin (FRP) with white Awlgrip finish on the exterior and white Awlgrip with spackle on the interior. Each hull is divided into four sections by bulkheads. The hulls are joined together by two aluminum cross beams and by the FRP deck. Centerboard trunks are formed in each hull with fiberglass dagger boards. The bow and stern rails are 1" stainless with coated cable lifelines bow to stern.
Tankage / Fuel System
The fuel system consists of 22-gal aluminum tanks, one located in each engine room with deck fills located on port and starboard labeled (Diesel). Fuel filters are Racor 500 MA.
Water System
The vessel is equipped with two, 22-gal water tanks (one per hull). The system is pressurized with two, 12 volt, Parmate 2.5 GPM. Water heater is instant 110 volt on demand.
Sanitation System
Two Crown Raritan Commodes and two, 15-gal Polyethylene holding tanks.
Rigging and Sails
Vessel is sloop rigged with a (FRP) mast and aluminum boom and spreaders. The pivot step is on the forward aluminum cross member connecting the hulls. Standing rigging is 1/19 Dye Form wire with Norseman mechanical fittings. Turnbuckles are connected to stainless steel chain plates thru the deck type bolted to bulkheads with backing plates. Mainsail is full battened. Two halyard wenches are Barient 24 self-tailing and a 2 speed Harken 42. Two sheet wenches are Harken 48 2 speed.
Electrical System
The AC consists of 110 volts shore power. DC system is 12 volt and consists of two banks of one group 27 batteries located in each engine room. One 8D (ships service) located under Helm.
Fire Extinguishing
Hand held mounted at Bar, Helm station and each Head. Halons mounted in each engine room.
Ground Tackle
A Fortress FX37 75 foot with 10 foot of 3/4" rode. 75 + 8 foot stainless chain
Bilge Drainage System
System consists of 6 Rule 2000, one in each of the three watertight compartments of each hull with automatic and manual float switches. High bilge water alarm switches are located in the engine compartment of each hull.
Layout
The custom-built Catamaran sloop has helm station aft with hydraulic steering and bench seating for 41 passengers. The U-shaped bar is located aft of the mast and contains a sink with pressure cold water. Webbed trampoline is forward of the mast from hull to hull.
