The standard in long distance and coastal cruising. Welcome aboard the sailing vessel Hanna, a Hinckley SOU'WESTER 59 SLOOP. This vessel has been meticulously maintained by her only owner since he first bought the boat new in 1993. She represents the highest craftsmanship of the Hinckley Yards in Southwest Harbor, Maine.
Starting in the cockpit, you will notice the very large wheel that gives firm control over handling Hanna. All control lines are led to the cockpit. Hydraulic winches control all sheets. The roller furling is also hydraulic. She is a sloop rig with a storm jib that can be used as a cutter. She has brand new B&G Navigation systems.
Going below from the cockpit you are surrounded by American wordworking in the main salon. The cabin sole is in prime condition. The large galley with stainless steel counters is on the port. The equally large navigation station is on starboard. The entire vessel is kept cool by three separate A/C units.
Going forward brings you to the seating area designed for 6 or more around a beautiful table.
From the seating area, if you go port you come to one of three heads, followed by a guest stateroom with ample storage and two bunks.
If you go starboard from the seating area, you arrive at the owner’s cabin with a full bed and more storage. Forward of the ower’s cabin is the forward head, separate shower, and sail storage area.
Going aft from the main salon you will pass the full washer and dryer set on the startboard side as well as a work station. The engine room is located amidships which contains the Perkins 6-354 engine with 135 HP. The Westerbeke 10 KW generator and hydraulic control center are also located in this room. You can access and maintain every aspect of these systems.
Continuing aft you come into the crew’s quarters, with a head and separate shower. There is also another companion way heading to the aft deck area.
This amazing sailboat is now available for purchase. Come aboard Hanna and find out why Hinckley Yachts are known throughout the sailing world as the best in American-made boats.
