My name is Caleb Breckenridge, and I am eager to serve my clients in finding the perfect boat to enjoy. I grew up in a military home, and found myself moving frequently around the globe. I have learned to adapt to a plethora of different countries and cultures and I believe that it has shaped me to be versatile and personable with those around. After high school, I decided to move to Florida to start my new endeavor in the yachting world. Since beginning my path, I began at the bottom as a deckhand on a Burger yacht, learning and absorbing all I could, with hopes of growing and pursing new goals and ambitions. As time passed, I pursued a job on a Westport mega yacht to be part of the crew, beginning as the Deckhand to therefore be promoted to First Mate. As I continued in the crew aspect of yachting, I served several seasons on different yachts, ranging from 90’-130’s.
In 2020, I attained my 100- Ton Captain’s License where I was eager to further my experience with operating yachts of all calibers. Since 2021, I have used my Captain’s License to professionally captain vessels all around the Florida coast, Bahamian waters and Caribbean islands. I have strayed from the crew aspect of yachting and have become more land-based with learning the mechanics and details of the inner workings of yachts. I have created my own company to provide total vessel management and mechanical services.
As I have learned to love the yachting world more and more, I have always been interested in the sales and service of boats. I am beginning my journey to learn how to grow in helping clients find the right boat for their enjoyment. Coming in with over 7 years of boating, yachting, mechanical and engineering background, I strive to make selling and buying for my clients easy and stress-free. As I join the Rick Obey’s Yacht Sales team, I am positive that I will be able to assist my clients to find their perfect match and assist with any others needs they may have.
